COLLEEN MOFFITT COUNSELLING
Get to know me
Healer, Teacher, Reflective
I wear many hats. As a daughter, sister, friend, teacher, counsellor, mom to two neuro-diverse kids, wife to a neuro-diverse spouse and dog mom, I have learned that life is messy and change can be uncomfortable.
I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors #18378
My counselling approach is client/person centred but I will challenge and keep you accountable at times to help you reach your goal. I draw from various modalities some of which include Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Counselling, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Family Therapy. I value and have an inclusive practice where I will always do my best to not only affirm, but also validate your experiences, thoughts and feelings and to help you plan your next step.
I believe counselling can benefit anyone and it's especially important to have support as we learn, heal and grow.
